This is a great option if you would like the fireman's pole coming from inside the childrens playhouse via a secret trap door. You could also add a sandpit underneath the playhouse.

This is a playhouse extra. It's an excellent option for developing upper body strength amongst other things. To add Monkey bars to the playhouse, the playhouse would need to be on stilts.

Add adventure and opportunity for gross motor development. Add the fireman’s pole to your Playhouse on stilts.

Raising the playhouse on stilts can provide a more adventurous playhouse and creates options for adding on monkey bars, fireman's pole, sandpit underneath. The playhouse is raised up by 1.5m and the cost includes a ladder.

This is a playhouse extra. You can incorporate the slide with or without a secret trapdoor in your childs playhouse or jungle gym for some extra fun. The slide is R1500; and with the trapdoor it's R2300.

A great opportunity for your children to be responsible and to care for their own plants. You could start with fake flowers until they are about 4 or 5yrs old, when they can water their plants (with a little reminding) themselves. Window boxes also brighten up the exterior of the playhouse.

Add an activity to your child's playhouse - opening and closing shutters. Practicing using the latches (as well as the lock and key and windows) is very good for fine motor control and developing those finger and hand muscles.

Create a themed feeling to your childrens playhouse or treehouse. The portholes are fixed closed and are a nice option if you want to create more natural light in the playhouse or treehouse.

This adds another dimension for creative and imaginative play to your childs custom playhouse. The stable door could either be used as either a shop window or farmhouse door, depending on the game. Children really seem to enjoy the two halves and extra latches of the stable door.

Our childrens playhouses are built with the same principles as building a real timber frame home. The corners all have cover strips (for waterproofing and adds to aesthetic quality of the trim). The roof also has ridge capping for waterproofing.

Do you have the priveledge of a beautiful tree in your garden? A crows nest provides the platform for a jungle gym with a difference. This can be built in stages. One could start with the crows nest and a ladder, then add on monkey bars or fireman's pole tfollowed by a heavy rope swing. This kind of project requires a custom quote.

Our jungle gym is suitable for ages from 1- 6 yrs old. A small staircase to the deck, from the deck there are the monkey bars or a wooden slide. There is also a climbing wall on one side and opposite that is a rope wall. Underneath the deck and staircase are holes to crawl through.

There are a variety of options for a sandpit. One could dig it into the ground and put a pyramid style lid (covered with shade-cloth) - this will keep the cats out. The other option is for us to build a box, line it with cloth and fill it with sand. The lid could then be a wooden lid that will fold back. Bear in mind that the bigger the box the heavier the lid. POR

Just like the old style A-frame swings, they used to be metal. We have created a beautiful solid wood A-Frame swing, which can seat 2 children on either side. The feeling of wood is so much more pleasing, being much warmer than plastic or metal.
