ZEVENWACHT WINE ESTATE, Kuils river, Cape Town

Zevenwacht has really taken into consideration what families are looking for most from an outing?!
Families in Cape Town, love to find something special to do outdoors. To go somewhere that the adults and children will
be entertained and catered to and somewhere they can appreciate the natural beauty that Cape Town is so well known for.
Last year Ryan Kuhn from Wooden Elements designed a play area for Zevenwacht that would be uniquely Zevenwacht.
Using their perfect space of rolling lawns, big trees and soft grass to create an ideal spot for parents to relax with a signature
Zevenwacht picnic basket while their children run and climb and explore.
We re-used and recycled materials when creating this play area - as many big farms have lots of material and timber lying around we were
asked if we could make use of it - which we did. Each piece was carefully selected and then completely re-sanded, treated and painted.
The droppers for the handrail was made with the beautiful old oak wine barrels - lending to the feeling of being on a working wine farm.
There is a separate toddler's jungle gym, especially designed for those littlies who are still finding their balance. There are also a few Crows nests
which are linked by bridges and have various play elements (eg. climbing wall, monkey bars etc)
This is definitly worth a visit, contact Zevenwacht for more information on their unique outdoor play area www.zevenwacht.co.za
